Tax Administration Building of Regensburg (Germany)
The administrative building includes 450 work stations, a service center, a public cafeteria, several meeting areas and an underground parking facility. The different units are connected by two full-flat, glazed atriums. These serve as a recreational area and an access area to the offices. Night-time cooling occurs through the atriums – an extremely energy-efficient concept, which allows low life cycle costs, little technology requirement, and a comfortable climate in the building.
